Below is the agenda for the Dec. 10 (Monday) Selectmen’s Meeting at 6 PM (note change in time) at the Cavendish Town Office:
• Leon Woods, Trail Master, present to review proposed
snowmobile trails and town highway crossings for the 2012-2013 snowmobile
season with the Select Board and to ask for approval.
• Leon Woods, Cavendish Cemetery Sextant, present to
review the FY” 14 Cavendish Cemetery Commission budget and appropriations request.
• Discussion of the PACE energy loan program and changes
that have been made since it was last discussed by the Select Board Town Energy
Committee member Cheryl Liener will be present for this discussion and to
summarize the recent meeting on PACE in Springfield.
• Margo Caulfield of the Cavendish Historical Society
present to briefly describe efforts to establish an Alexandr Solzhenitsyn
exhibit and to solicit ideas from the Select Board as to what items should be
included in the Cavendish Historical Time Line for the Year 2012
• Consider External Appropriation Requests for FY” 14. Representatives
from the various organizations requesting appropriation are scheduled to make
brief presentations from 6:50 to approximately 6:15.
• Final update on the status of grader repairs and rental
and other highway equipment repairs.
• Update on Ecosystem Restoration Grant activities.
• Update on FEMA paperwork activities
• Follow-up on last meeting’s discussion (item #13)
pertaining to drainage at Carlton Road. Board to review a draft of a related
letter.
• Updates on various other town activities and
discussion of a schedule for the first few budget meetings in early January.
