Proctorsville Woman’s Plea Leads to House Arrest: Krystal Pelkey, 26, had entered into the deal in May which called for her to plead guilty to felony counts of sale and possession of cocaine in exchange for an 18-to-36 month sentence, all but six months of which would be suspended if she was approved for home confinement. In return, the state dropped a third felony drug sales count that had been pending against her. Rutland Herald

2. CAVENDISH COMMUNITY LUNCHEON CEASES

The ladies in the kitchen at the monthly Proctorsville Community Luncheon have regretfully said farewell to friends and neighbors who have joined us for lunch on the 3rd Thursday of each month for the past nine or ten years.  We had a joyous Christmas dinner last week and said our goodbyes.  We will miss the activity and the friends we've made, but it's time to move on.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support!

If there is an interest in continuing the luncheon at this or another location and you have a group of workers who would like to pick up this activity, please call Paula at 226-7653 for more information.  It would be wonderful to see the monthly gathering continue.

Again, thank you for supporting us for all these years.
