A number of people witnessed the car accident by Greven Road yesterday, May 6. The following is from the VT State Police.
On May 6, 2013 at approximately 7:40 pm the Vermont State Police in Rockingham, Ludlow Ambulance and the Proctorsville Fire Department responded to a single vehicle crash on RT. 103 near the intersection of Greven Rd. Extension in the Town of Proctorsville, VT. The vehicle involved was a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Caleb Palmer of Proctorsville, VT. Palmer was not injured during the crash. Palmer was taken into custody for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Possession of Cocaine, Driving After Suspension and Violation of Conditions of Release. Palmer was processed at the Rockingham State Police Barracks. Palmer was cited to appear in Windsor Superior Court on May, 7 2013 at 1230 PM. Palmer was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $2,500.00. Troopers have concluded that Driving Under the Influence was a contributing cause of the crash.
