On Saturday, July 13, Cavendish
Recreation is sponsoring an afternoon and evening of fun activities as follows:
3pm: River float - East Hill bridge to
Greven Field. Meet at East Hill ready to float. BYOF(float) and transport. According to
Lisa Ewald “I floated the river twice
this week - the temp and river levels are perfect - very rare for July.
Let's take advantage of all this rain!”
5pm: BBQ at Greven Field Cavendish Rec Dept will
supply the grill and condiments - BYOF(food) U(utensils) B (beverage). Volleyball, wiffleball, baseball,
softball, flag football, horseshoes, bike trail, nature walk, etc.....
Please do not feel like you have to
float the river to join us - come at 5pm for BBQ and games. Rain date Sunday,
7/14 starting at 1pm.

Reminder - The Rec Dept is sponsoring this weeks
Concert on the Green with Voodoo Alien Blues band starting at 6pm on Wednesday,
7/10. Please come and support the efforts of the CCCA.
