The Cavendish Community and Conservation Association is again coordinating the annual Cavendish summer music series with free Wednesday evening concerts on the Proctorsville Green. Come and enjoy the next concert on Wednesday, July 18th at 6:00 p.m. with Rick Redington & the Luv, sponsored by Okemo Mountain Resort.
Whether playing an intimate solo acoustic performance in a coffeehouse setting or rockin’ out with his band “The Luv” in a large concert venue, Rick’s performances have something memorable and meaningful for all to share. No strangers to the Proctorsville Green, Rick and the band have delighted the local Wednesday evening concert goers several times in the past.
Then on July 25th you can hear Gypsy Reel sponsored by Black River Produce. On August 1st Sensible Shoes will perform sponsored by Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company. And for the final concert of the summer on August 8th Voodoo Alien Blues Band will play, sponsored by CCCA. Each concert begins at 6:00 p.m.
All concerts are free and open to the public, so join your neighbors and friends in front of the gazebo on the green. Bring a comfortable chair, a blanket, maybe a picnic, or just kick back and relax on the grass. The summer concert series has a long history in Proctorsville and many area residents reserve Wednesday evenings to listen to the live music. So please reserve the dates on your calendar.
